Awareness Meditation Weekend Course in North Wales, March 2015

Awareness of the Natural Breath Weekend Meditation Course

Suitable for beginners

Course Outline

This powerful traditional meditation, which involves observation of the natural breath, develops calm awareness and deep stability of the mind.

Taught by experienced teachers trained by Dr. Kumar, the focus will be on meditation practice. There will be opportunities to clarify the technique through Q and A, discuss the practice and to gain an understanding about the technique and how it works.

The course teaches the six progressive steps of the technique that can be continued as a daily practice or used as a basis for working with the mind more deeply on a residential course.

The day will consist of a series of guided meditation sessions, each lasting between 15 mins and 30 mins.
Between each session there will be an opportunity to ask questions, have a short break and stretch. We will have a morning and afternoon tea break, serving herbal tea and an hour lunch break. There will be a ‘yoga nidra’ relaxation session after lunch. There will be some short introductory talks on the meditation technique throughout the weekend to contextualise and explain how it works.

Feedback from previous weekend courses:

I have enjoyed the weekend and have found the introduction so well presented and supported with vast knowledge and detailed explanations.

Wonderfully presented, extremely helpful in explaining what we are doing in meditation and why.  Allowed me to “fit pieces together” in the jigsaw, really helped give me some insight into the theory behind the practice – Inspiring.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge, and for a technique I can now maintain a faithful focus on.

An insightful experience, the term “Breathe of Life” will have a whole, new expanded meaning.

A fabulous weekend in a truly welcome and relaxed atmosphere, with great teachers.  Particularly liked the teaching method, given with love and attention in a very clear and clarified manner.  Very open and sharing style.  Many thanks to all.

The presentation was high quality and the variation of tutors was refreshing and motivating (appreciate the humour and pace). Looking forward to the next opportunities.Venue very good!

Liked the pace of the 2 day.  Also enjoyed the theory, it was interesting, informative and inspiring.

Thank You.  I’ve really enjoyed it.

Really wonderful.  Excellent information, well delivered, great balance of theory and practice and suitable breaks.  In addition lovely venue and lovely people.

I have clarified – or rather you have clarified some important aspects of the practice for me which I hope to take on board in due course.  I found BB work very helpful, clear and concise.  I look forward to more of these weekends.  Many thanks.

Well presented.  Both days excellent.  thought provoking.  Hope to continue the practice.  Thank you.

Eyeopening!! – My first meditation workshop.

Excellent teaching – good balance between theory and practice.  Left me wanting to know more.  Thank You.

I was very happy I was able to come to the course this weekend.  A great balance of meditation practice and teaching.  Very clear explanations, coupled with helpful guidance during the meditation sessions.  I have no improvements to recommend; It would be great to have more courses like this.

Enjoyed the relaxed and friendly approach.  Appreciated the knowledge of the team.
