This powerful traditional meditation develops calm awareness and deep stability of the mind.
Taught by experienced meditation teachers trained by Dr. ALV Kumar, usually in a small group of between four and eight students. There will be opportunities to ask questions, discuss the practice and to gain an understanding about the technique and how it works.
The course teaches the six progressive steps of the technique that can be continued as an ongoing daily practice at home or used as a basis for working with the mind more deeply on a residential course. This is usually taught as a two hour session once a week over the course of seven weeks. The teaching is sequential so it is best to attend all seven classes. As a sitting meditation, it is optional to either use a meditation cushion or chair depending on what is most comfortable.
