Kayachikitsa
While Kayachikitsa is well known as a branch of Ayurveda, Kayachikitsa as a system of yoga has only recently been recovered. The ancient science, from which Acupuncture and Acupressure were derived, is known in all its theoretical and practical aspects to very few individuals in the world today.

Kayachikitsa is focused on the treatment of persons who are ill and/or bedridden. Administered with great patience and compassion, it recognizes the psychosomatic nature of illness and the power of physical touch to heal and cure. Genuine caring being seen as a vital part of the technique, its practise was originally prescribed only for family members and dear ones. The detailed and vigorous technique brings immediate relief to those suffering from a number of physical and mental conditions. Its long term benefits are the regeneration of the whole system, and the means to achieve and maintain a status of complete health.
With his advanced knowledge of the Kayachikitsa technique, his thorough understanding of medical and spiritual conditions, and his reassuring compassion, Kumar has brought effective relief to many people. Some of the problems Kumar has helped improve and even cure have been muscular dystrophy, spinal and cervical disorders, skin problems such as Erythroderma, thyroid and reproductive disorders, ADHD, severe mental handicap and paralysis.
Kayachikitsa can be learned and practised by anyone wanting to provide relief, healing, and rejuvenation to loved ones.
Kumar offers short workshops and intensive training courses in Kayachikitsa as well as personal treatment sessions. Please see schedule for details.
